Aesthetics and COVID-19: What You Should Know

Maybe you had plans for aesthetic treatment before COVID-19 brought so much of our lives to a halt. Or maybe the extra time at home inspired you to make changes to feel like your best self. Whatever the case may be, we know that many people are looking for ways to get cosmetic care in the coming weeks and months.

We are here for you. At Zarreii Medical and Aesthetics in Delray Beach, Florida, Peymon Zarreii, MD, and the rest of our team are committed to giving you safe access to our top-tier aesthetic services. We strive to continue delivering the best in cosmetic care and treatments alongside our priority to protect the health of everyone who visits our office.

Here’s a quick update on how our office plans to move forward in light of current guidelines and regulations.

Aligning with Florida state guidelines

Florida has moved into Phase 1 of Governor DeSantis’s Guidelines for Opening Up Florida. Even in Phase 0, by early May, we were able to offer some services, as the Guideline called for the following: “Upon the expiration of Executive Order 20-72 on May 8, 2020, healthcare practitioners should resume all inpatient and outpatient elective procedures at hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, office surgery centers, dental, orthodontic and endodontic offices, and other health care practitioners’ offices.” As Dr. Zarreii offers internal medicine care, we fell under this umbrella.

Still, though, we wanted to be careful about adhering with regulation around nonessential services. Fortunately, now that we’ve entered Phase 1, the Guideline says we can open for our full spectrum of services. It says, “Personal Services Businesses, such as cosmetology salons, barbershops, and nail salons, should limit occupancy to 50 percent of building capacity.” We’re working to align with that guideline while offering you access to all of our aesthetic treatments.

Prioritizing your safety

In addition to limiting occupancy in our building, we’re also employing Governor DeSantis’s recommendations for keeping you and our team safe. Our top priority is your health and wellbeing. Moving forward, our goal is to provide you with the care and treatments you need to move toward your cosmetic and wellness goals in a safe, sanitized space.
